Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard of HYROX. This fitness racing sport has been taking over the fitness world! It might be due to the low barrier of entry for the sport: no longer do you need to be able to do high skill gymnastics movements, or throw a barbell over your head. For this race? You just need some serious stamina… and that’s where we come in!

This program is designed to give you the proper training leading up to a HYROX event or to use HYROX style training to achieve HYROX athlete-like fitness. Accordingly, you will be provided with 5 days of training per week for 8 weeks with the last week being a taper week to lead into your race day!

This program has two options:

We have selected the aforementioned framework for our programming to ensure that your 8 week prep course allows you time to hit all of the factors of fitness you will need to be successful in the HYROX competition.  You will notice towards the end of the 8 weeks that you will play with some half HYROX workouts to start to get a feel for the event.  Your 8th week will be tapered so that you can run this program right up until your event!  Remember the magic is in the consistency.  If you miss a day, so be it, but get back on the train the next training day.  Let nothing (unless serious) come between you and nailing your sessions.  They don’t all have to be perfect, but they all need to happen.

Each session will generally take 30-60 minutes to complete. You can bounce between the Beginner track and the Intermediate/Advanced track or stick with one track. You have the option to do whatever suits your fitness goals the best.
