Place a band on the rig close to the floor. Loop the band around your waist and assume tabletop position. Maintain a neutral spine as you reach one arm forward and the opposite leg backwards. Stabilize and keep your core engaged.)

Perform the rowing at 70%, but perform the snatches and burpee box jump-overs at your desired competition pace. Use this as a drill to prime your pacing and movement efficiency.

I’ve done this one a few times, and still didn’t finish it.

In 2017, I did this twice and both times was 5 burpees away from finishing it.
Considering that this Friday I did this after following all the workouts for the week (no rest), and that I train alone in my basement with no music, I’m happy it was still close.

***I can’t transition the DB smooth in the air so I had to switch hands on the floor, which is slower, but in the long run is smoother/therefor faster for me. BBJO done with jump up and step down lateral.

I was worried about the transition as well but once I get in a rhythm, it gets smooooooth. I usually have a sore back the day after but I think the “mid air transition” helped me guide the bd down.
I’m definitely going to have to work on the transition of the DB….just another piece of the puzzle that you don’t think a lot about until it comes up. Yes…my lower back is a bit stiff today…I video taped my workout and after watching it I realize the more tired I got the less hinging I did and more bending over to pick up the DB.
My backs goes squirrelly when try to control the bd to the ground. I don’t bend in the knees. In midair transition, it was a natural que to “catch” with my legs. Kinda like a wb.

This one was a lot more fun compared to last week’s one! I thought the snatches were the ones that would be heinous, but actually the burpees felt harder! Only the last set of 50 snatch did I have to break up 25/25 with a 5 sec breather, otherwise everything else was UB.
