September 23, 2017 – Performance

In teams of three, complete three rounds each of:
350 Meter Row
(rest station)
25 Thrusters (95/65 lbs)
(rest station)
15 Pull-Ups
(rest station)

Teammates will attack this in a pipeline fashion. Teammate A will start rowing, and once they are off, they will move to a rest station while Partner B begins rowing. Once Partner B finishes rowing, Partner A may begin Thrusters and Partner C begins rowing. Teams will follow this sequence until all teammates have completed three full rounds.

31:40 in teams of three RX, but it was all about thrusters, pain in the ass
WE also started DL and Strict Press 2 months strenght program today:
DL 90kg 5×5 and work on upper back mobiity drills

Husband and I did team series event 2. We modified to deal with our weaknesses. We switched every5 reps on the CTB and I did 10 HPS to every 5 of my DH. Also could do all reps as CTB.
We got to 92 reps on the HPS at the Time cap, but finished the workout in 21:10.
I am so sore today!

THURSDAY’S WOD (intended for yesterday)
A. 1 RM Max Clean + Jerk
155# – 15 lb PR, for C+J, Power Clean, and Jerk, pretty happy about that

B. “The Chief”
18 Rounds +4 reps total @ 95#, regular push ups – my hips got crushed during this even during air squats after the first part.

Question – Should the push ups be hand release or just regular depth. I have seen here that they specify hand release sometimes. My old box always did hand release.

I did yesterday’s workout.
A. 305×3 that was tough heavy for me today after a rest day which was frustrating.
The other three sets were 275×6
I don’t have hspu yet so I subbed wall walk and hold for 30+ seconds and ring dips 10 reps.

B. 4 rounds +10
Finished the 4th round.

C. Helping a neighbor move!

Thursday’s A. 1 RM C&J Up to 155#, ugly technique and lower back felt weird so I tried this weight again with a belt and it was better. Then removed belt and dropped back to 135# to end on a good note B. The Chief rx’d. Did this one in April and scored 23.
