A.
Mobility and Maintenance
* Choose 1-2 Thoracic Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
* Choose 2-3 Lower Body Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 10-12 minutes with them.
* Choose 1-2 Upper Extremity Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD
and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
– AND/OR –
* Body work from a licensed body worker (ART, Graston, acupuncture, etc…)
B.
Inflammation Maintenance
* This could be a lot of things, but think in terms of compression, contrast baths, salt baths, castor oil packs, etc….
C.
Nutrition Preparation
* Ensure that you have quality foods prepared in the appropriate quantities to fuel your efforts for the remainder of the week.
D.
Mental Restoration
* Different for everyone – could be meditation or could be gathering with friends; the key is to engage in activities that make your life full and help you recharge your batteries.
Had to do Sundays today
A) 23:32. That is horrnle feeling and were doing the pull-up wod about 30 min after. I don’t feel recovered yet but couldn’t do 2 sessions
B) 2:53. Had to break the pull-ups much more than expected
Saturday I was able to train with Jacob Heppner, North Central Regional athlete and invictus follower. We ran though events 4 and 5 followed up with event 6 but only 30 reps of each movement – finished in 14:17
Sunday- Rest
Today – event 7
64 pull ups
8 OHS 205
Time – 3:00
64 pull ups done in 1:53 (25/15/10/14)
Heart rate got super high and forearm pump majorly so way too much rest between movements. Will definently beat that time come sunday
