20 seconds of Banded Palloff Hold (Left)
20 seconds of Banded Palloff Hold (Right)
30 seconds of Banded Lateral Monster Walk (Left)
30 seconds of Banded Lateral Monster Walk (Right)
30 seconds of Single-Leg Prone GHD Plank (Left)
30 seconds of Single-Leg Prone GHD Plank (Right)
20 seconds of Dynamic Bulgarian Split Squat Jumps (Left)
20 seconds of Dynamic Bulgarian Split Squat Jumps (Right)
Rest 60 seconds

You should be able to complete this entire Glute Activation Circuit in less than 12 minutes. Move from one movement immediately to the next.

B.
Every 2 minutes, for 12 minutes (6 sets):
(Power Clean + 2 Power Jerks) x 1 rep

*Sets 1-2 = @ 75% of 1-RM Power Jerk
*Sets 3-4 = @ 80% of 1-RM Power Jerk
*Sets 5-6 = @ 85% of 1-RM Power Jerk

C.
Every 10 minutes, for 20 minutes (2 sets):
60/40 Calorie Assault Bike
50-Foot Handstand Walk
200 Double Unders
50-Foot Handstand Walk
60-90 Seconds of L-Sit
(accumulated)

D.
For time:
40 Dumbbell Box Step-Overs (50/35 lb DBs; 24″/20″)
30 Devil’s Press (50/35 lb DBs)
20 Burpee Box Jump-Overs (24″/20″)

E.
Three sets of:
Landmine Rows x 6 reps each @ 2111

Coming off a long weekend of vacay…
B: 185-225-225-245-265-285. 285 matches my push jerk pr so that was cool
C: Round 1, finished 60s of L-sit at 9:46.
Round 2: had a quick date with the bushes outside after first round of hs walks; got through 112 du
D: 14:06. Oof; box step overs in sets of 5, devils press in sets of 4.

Power-ish clean, missed the jerk, just wasn’t tight
C) about 40 seconds accumulated L-sit in 9:30 (rested 30 seconds to get back on the bike)
2nd round: 18 seconds accumulated L-sit

A. Done B. 85/85/90/90/95/95 C. Done. Subd row for bike. Scaled HSW to 25ft; I really suck at HSW these days. LSits were not all that good either, been a while. D. 14:28 Rx. Just felt tired today, otherwise I loved this. DP feels smooth and I like seeing it come up. E. Done Definitely a grind session today. Overall tired today, both mentally and physically. C. Done with 200ft sb carry instead of hs walk and every 12 min
L-sits in short 5-10sec increments and equal rest
D. 14:45 with 40# dbs

C) bike didn’t feel quite as good ? subbed shoulder taps for Hs walk 8:08/9:21

A- didn’t have required equipment, so did a dynamic warm up
B- 185lb, 205, 215 (hit the prescribed %)
B.2 – was feeling good so hit a heavy single power clean 255, got 265 but below parallel
C- did not do
D- 16:10 rx. Movements felt good but my lungs are still garbage.
E- done

that’s great to hear! This current cycle was built around Granite Games and other competitions like the Lowlands Throwdown and BCC. With the current format we need to make sure you guys are ready to compete multiple times per year. The next cycle starts this Monday the 3rd and will be the first phase in getting you guys ready for the Open in October.

C. Did 150 DU each time instead as I’ve discovered that any more than 300 in a day really messes up my ankle. Plus, I wanted more time upside down.
