Not sure if you have mentioned this before but what’s a good distance on the Assault bike to do if you have to sub it for the 400m run because the weather in the UK sucks!

Been awfully lazy with my time away from work in regard to posting this week. Slight summary.. Monday – I hit a Power Clean + Jerk 5# PR at 310# which I was super stoked about. Tuesday… Can totally feel a snatch PR coming.. Worked up to some higher percentages very comfortably but played conservative. So thank you for double snatch seshes a week. 1-RM push press was 260 Today: Off Season: A. Worked up to 315 which is 90% felt pretty off today on the jerk in terms of footwork. B. Nuno – 14:16 RX phew.. Run was slow.… Read more »

Session 1: Stressful. I hit a jerk PR at 188#. I don’t think I’ve hit anything over 175# for two years or so cause I’ve taken it easy on my back and focus on form. I attempted 193# all the times and I have the strength for it but form wasn’t perfect. I knew I wouldn’t do Nuno Rx. I hit 175# for a clean prior but no more than that. My max clean is 188#. My max FS is 205# ? I did the workout at 165#. I liked the thruster/MU one, I was just too annoyed to give… Read more »

Week 3, warm up done 11:31. Used gymnastics mats, 8″ and 18″ to jump over. Practiced moving it every 5 reps… I actually like this better… get a little moment to breathe. All OH squats were controlled and UB. Assult bike was 67-70rpm and rowing was done to an easy breathing pace… didn’t allow myself to redline here becuase burpees will do that. Felt good. HS walking 80/20. Could only get an 80′ runway. Will likely do this UB if shoulders feel good. Looking forward to this one the most!!! “2016 CrossFit Regionals Event 6” For time: 1000 Meter Assault… Read more »

Depends what you are used to doing. Some athletes like to move a little some like to take a full rest day. Do what works for you but it should be low intensity with nothing strenuous.
