*Keep your elbows locked out throughout the movement, with absolutely NO shrugging. Shoulders have to be locked down in position while walking.
**Athletes should be able to achieve at least a 50-foot overhead carry with their 1-RM Snatch weight, and their goal should be to achieve that distance with their 1-RM Clean and Jerk weight.

A. Built up to 135. The movement felt a bit awkward but the load overhead felt comfortable.
GP2
A. Set 1-5 at 83% of new 1RM, was a tough last rep each set but made it. Hip was not feeling right so did not do set 6.
B. 1 climb each min was not to difficult, next time I’ll add a couple rounds of 2 climbs. SHSPU 10/10/10/10/8, haven’t been feeling strong with these lately, not sure if just fatigued when they come up or having shoulder issues.

I am getting my “legs” under me as it were. I have more time in the morning during the summer with my work, so I can devote an hour to the running session and then hit up the masters program some 7-8 hours later. I have been able to not take a step back weight wise or my times. Actually doing better than I thought I would with the running. After my Lower back injury Indidnt seek out any extra running. I really enjoy the three separate session emphasis and find them challenging but doable. I feel I have time… Read more »

QUESTION: is there an agreed upon I-Masters cool down routine? I tend to do 10 minutes Z1 Aero and some static stretching; hitting some trouble points when I have time.
I am a fan of doing some stability work after training and bringing your heart rate back down but I don’t have a specific routine for this.
Totally appreciate that. That sounds about right in line with what I often do.
