A. Done
B. Only got about a third of my MU attempts. I’m frustrated that it’s still so inconsistent. HS walk was about normal — usually get between 3 and 10 feet at a time. If they have this at the Games I think it will be a very short wod for me.
C. 2 sets of 5 at 125# (81%), 2 sets of 5 at 130# (85%) Most of these felt pretty good.
D. 4:28, 4:45, 5:08, 5:02 (KBs felt really heavy today)

Hilly 400, broke 3rd round of kbs because no one was watching and I could. Last round I wanted to beat my 3rd round so held on to all 30 because I could! Grip toast. Felt better today. I didn’t use my kettlebell as a pillow for a cat nap on a like I did yesterday. Hah

B. DUs 3×45, much better only 1 miss each set, MU’s solid, 3 sets of 3 felt easy, did assisted hand stand walk for 10 meters 3x, then worked on kicking up against the wall.

D. 4:16, 4.38, 4.44, 4:32

Anyone know if our athlete and coaches pass act as a silver pass this year? They did in previous years but communication hasn’t been real good this year or I missed something.

I know we get two gold passes when we get there. I thought I read the masters credentials don’t get you in this year.

Thanks Greg. I didn’t get my gold tickets this morning so still keeping my ears open for 2 of them before I buy silver. I wouldn’t think the silver are going to sell out and would like to get the rest of the family golds. Its crazy the master athletes can’t get their hands on a few extra.

I know last year the athlete credential was hit or miss to get you in as a gold pass, it worked on day on security but not the next. But its no supposed to. Yeah you would think they would offer to sell their Masters a few more in advance of the sale for their families.

Traveling today for work and had to drop in on a new gym. The WOD was Lumberjack 20 which was actually pretty close to today’s “D.” Afterwards I was able to grab a corner and complete “B.” I subbed HSPU for HS walks because I didn’t want to accidentally hurt anybody by falling on them 😉 I’m looking forward to hitting the pool tomorrow.

sorry in advance for non related workout post 🙂

My sister in-law is trying to get rid of her room and 1 gold ticket for the Games, she is not going. She has a room at Pacific Inn Seal Beach in Long Beach from 23rd to 27th, the room (1 King) has a nonrefundable $200 deposit and is $764 total or $191 per night. She said she would sell ticket at face value if someone takes her room. If anyone is interested they can email Charm at 601halfpint@att.net
