Mobility and Maintenance
* Choose 1-2 Thoracic Mobility Drills

* Choose 2-3 Lower Body Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD

* Choose 1-2 Upper Extremity Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
– AND/OR –

Nutrition Preparation
* Ensure that you have quality foods prepared in the appropriate quantities to fuel your efforts for the remainder of the week.

C.
Mental Restoration
* Different for everyone – could be meditation or could be gathering with friends; the key is to engage in activities that make your life full and help you recharge your batteries.

Hey Tino Marini Cj Martin coachs
Next week i have the frenchtrowdown, starts on friday until sunday. How do i manage my week? Train monday and tuesday the normal program, change the Conditioning for the events i will have there? Wednesday full rest, thursday light cardio and some stretching?

I’m not Tino or CJ, but as a fellow competitor I always take the week of big competitions as follows …
Monday Tuesday- train lower volume… light conditioning, if there are specific lifts for the comp, I will work up to my opening weights on one of the days. Emom style, low volume of the movements I will see…
Depending on how many days the comp is.. (assuming Friday-Sunday) I typically take a full rest day on wednesday,
Light movement (think low intensity row /bike) maybe some technique work/mobility on Thursday.
