Mobility and Maintenance
* Choose 1-2 Thoracic Mobility Drills
from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
* Choose 2-3 Lower Body Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD
and spend 10-12 minutes with them.
* Choose 1-2 Upper Extremity Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
– AND/OR –
* Body work from a licensed body worker (ART, Graston, acupuncture, etc…)
B.
Nutrition Preparation
* Ensure that you have quality foods prepared in the appropriate quantities to fuel your efforts for the remainder of the week.
C.
Mental Restoration
* Different for everyone – could be meditation or could be gathering with friends; the key is to engage in activities that make your life full and help you recharge your batteries.
Did GGQ #6 today. 302 reps Rx. Oh, those DB thrusters! They literally took me a full 12 minutes – I’m not kidding! I spent so much time just looking at the DBs! It didn’t help that I was doing this by myself in the gym w/out anyone yelling at me to pick them back up. And my DUs are pretty inefficient too. Glad that one is over!
Hang in there and keep plugging away on those DBs and DUs! Tough to do these on your own.
