The upcoming cycle from January 4 to February 7 will be the first phase of building toward the 2021 Open. This will be an opportunity for athletes to continue to develop their strength foundation and aerobic base. In the new cycle there will be a more focus on barbell cycling efficiency along with lightweight “Classic Crossfit” style couplets and triplets. There will be further focus on the gymnastic skills acquisition and volume accumulation both within conditioning pieces and skill work. There will continue to be lots of accessory and strongman work to compliment this along with all of our running, rowing, assault bike, mixed modal and gymnastic options that have been seen in the previous cycles.
