Start the clock and:
Place a lacrosse ball on a box and roll your bicep on the lacrosse ball to help break up any adhesions.

At the 5:00 mark, complete:
Use a softball or something of similar size to roll out your glutes and IT bands

At the 10:00 mark, complete:
Banded Warm-Up Series x 10 reps in each position

At the 12:00 mark, complete:
Two sets of:
400 Meter Run @ 60% pace
Banded Monster Walks x 10 reps in each direction
Banded Lateral Walks x 10 reps in each direction
Banded Squats x 10 reps
Push-Ups x 10 reps

A.
Three sets of:
Tempo Bench Press x 4-6 reps @ 21X1
(slow and controlled descent, then pause for one second in the bottom position, then explode the barbell up as quickly as you can; these should be performed at least 5% heavier than last week’s sets)
Rest 90 seconds
Barbell Loaded Walking Lunges x 20 steps @ 20X1
(back rack the barbell; step so legs make 90/90 angles; keep your chest up throughout the movement; HOVER, but DO NOT TOUCH your back knee to the ground – this shows control; go heavy!)
Rest 90 seconds

Followed by…

One set of:
Bench Press x Max reps @ today’s working weight (no tempo)
Rest 2 Minutes
20/15 kg Barbell Jumping Lunges x Max Reps in 2 Minutes
(place an empty barbell on your back and perform as many jumping lunges as possible in 2 minutes)

Three rounds for time of:
8 Power Cleans
16 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups

A1 – Bench – 3×6 reps @175. Lunges @135. Lunges have been very helpful. Groin & adductors feeling great finally after struggling the past couple years.
A2 – Max Bench – 15 reps @175. Jumping lunges = 60. Woof. Got rough quick!
B – 12:08 @165; Did strict pullups instead of kipping C2B. Cleans fast singles.
C – Done.

I had a PT session this morning and my glute med was pretty fired up prior to training but considering that I think the lunges felt ok. It was litearally only a 35# bar on my back and I just took them slow and easy. On the conditioning piece, I didn’t really feel as though barbell cycling 135# was a good option for me so just did quick singles on those.

I liked that run-banded walks warm-up 🙂
A. Bench at 115×5 then 9 no tempo. Lunges at 95/105/105. Then 59 reps in 2min. Burn!!
B. 12:59
All singles on PC
10/6, 9/7, 10/6 on C2B
Rows. Ug. Maybe 900ish.
First round took 3:45 then took a bit longer on PCs and C2Bs
C. 35lb DB and used ab-wheel not barbell

B. 13:18 (185#) – shoulder has been giving me problems on the PU bar – think I have some tendonitis going on. Hurts on the bottom of each rep – so did more of a controlled kip/strict c2b today at 4×4 each round. Row/PC felt good.
