Every 90 seconds, for as long as possible…
Clean & Jerk x 1 rep

Start at approximately 75/50 lbs under your 1-RM, and increase load by 5-10 lbs every set. Continue building until you miss the same weight twice. If you miss twice, your session is over.

B.
“Sage at 20”
20-Minute Work Capacity Test
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible in 20 minutes of:
20 Thrusters (135/95 lbs)
20 Pull-Ups
20 Burpees Over the Barbell (lateral)

Compare results to May 26, 2018.

A) worked up to 185. No fails. That’s the heaviest I’ve gone OH since surgery, it felt really good, but I’m still a little nervous with OH movements.
B) 3+10. The thrusters were tough on my shoulder, kept consistent sets of 5 with lots of rest in between. 1st time doing kipping pullups in about a year & since surgery. They felt amazing, I missed them so much!:)

Saturday
A- up to 170, failed clean at 175 and by fail I mean chicken out every attempt. Not happy with myself.
B- no time #momlife

Sunday
A- up to 175, current 1 rm, failed clean at 180 aka chicken out again. At least it was better than yesterday.

A. Started at 80Kg up to 107.5Kg(95%)/110Kg(f). Felt a slow when it came to the jerks; a bit apprehensive about shoulders too. Cleans were no problem.
B. 3rnds+9reps. A full end less than PR.

Overall felt good today. Still working my way back but it’s coming. Feels great to be moving weight around again.

A. 2 jerk fails at 190 ? really ridiculous that I’m not in the 200s. Got under the first jerk but it was a bit forward
B. 4+15, 1 more rep than last time ??‍♀️
Wanted 4:30 rounds to leave myself 2 min for round 5.. but went over a little on 3rd then a lot on 4th, so was left with about 1:10.

It hurt, per usual.

8AM Squat Clean 195, Power Clean 205, then 3×3 front squat at 205, 225, 135. Overhead Squat Practice 2×3 at 135, 185.

Chaos (21:01+4:00 sled push 110 ft at 405 lbs)

A. 155, 165, 175, 185, 195 was missed 2x
B. Sage at 20 (2 Rounds + 5 Thrusters

Track in the morning
5:34 mile. Previous was 5:51 – sub 5:30 is coming.
Afternoon
225 to 295 C&J(95%), hit 305 clean but not jerk
Sage – 4+2 – this sucked something awful. Morning run made this just a smidge worse!

B. 3+31 RX. First time ever doing this. Finished 3 rounds in less than 15 minutes and then my quad cramped I couldn’t do more than one thruster at a time… took me 4 1/2 minutes to do 20 clusters?

A. Started at 185lb finished at 270lb for a PR!! (+15lb) failed 1@ 275, quads on fire!
Pressed for time… moved on to part B

B. 3+1. 135lb thruster was pretty aggressive, broke them up into 5’s. Difficult wod. Was not doing Invictus on previous date to compare results.

Can’t wait for Monday.

B. RX 4+1 last year with 22,5 dbs 3+ 56

A. Started at 175 up to 255 to tie my old pr
B. 3+10 RX
Thruster sets were 10/10, 8/7/5, 8/7/5, 10, pull-ups unbroken, burpees were slow. Found myself taking long breaks in between thruster sets.

A. Up to 195. These were slow and heavy today.
B. 4+12
Still being cautious going over head, so did front squats with 115# vice thrusters. And only did 10 pull-ups because I got a blood blister on my palm earlier in the week and didn’t feel like tearing.
