1 Muscle Snatch
2 Drop Snatches

Build over the course of the 5 sets to something heavy-ish for this complex.
Same as last week, try to build a little heavier.

Six sets of:
Snatch Lift-Off + Snatch
Rest 2 minutes
For the lift off, pause for a count of “one one-thousand, two one-thousand” at the mid-patella before returning the weight to the floor. Build over the course of the six sets to today’s heavy.

Every 2 minutes, for 8 minutes (4 sets):
Snatch x 1 rep
Perform these with the same weight you finished with on the lift-off + snatch.

*Set 1 – 5 reps @ 60-65%
*Set 2 – 4 reps @ 70-75%
*Set 3 – 3 reps @ 75-80%
*Set 4 – 2 reps @ 80-85%
Rest no more than 60 seconds – or the time it takes you to put weight on the barbell – between these first four sets!
*Set 5 – 1 rep @ 85%

14:37. Ring MU in 10/3, 6/5, 5/4, 4/3, 4/1. Just had to take a lot of pretty long breaks. Snatches were tough but MU were good.

Was aiming for a faster time but managed to keep it under the 15:00 time cap I gave myself. Snatches went faster as the rounds went, plenty of leg and lockout there. All quick singles.
The skin on my hands went before my MU ability… never failed but had to break early several times at the end not due to failure or fatigue but simply due to skin started to tear.

This was harder than I expected. I felt like the Snatches were extremely taxing on my legs to keep pushing the pace. Muscle ups felt good but broke 13 and 11 into 3 sets in hopes not to burn out early.

B. 105/115/125/135/145/150–didn’t think I was going to hit 150 so happy I did.
C. 150 x 3 and failed last one. happy with this as it’s 92% of my 1-RM, so yay.
D. 165/191/205/215/215/230/245/260 failed. I knew I would fail it based off of how 245# felt, but figured I’d just feel it out.

My Amanda time sucks big time. My hand started to tore right in the beginning of 11 reps. Went slower do to that also just happy to be doing mu again ☺ can easily be like 2 or 3 min faster. Just sometimea it is a bad metcon day ☺. But what saved the day is finally after a really long time. Many years I set a PR in front squat 185kg hell yeah. First improvement in squat over 3 years
