**You will notice that we have differentiated AM and PM sessions for today. If your schedule allows for it then please complete the Deep Learning Session in the morning and 21.2 Event in the PM.
If your schedule does not allow for two sessions in one day then perform the Deep Learning Session (omit AM Movement Primer), rest until fully recovered, and then tackle the designated PM sessions that will have you primed and ready for 21.2.**

Time cap: 20 minutes
No box in home gym so
With 55# db and burpees over the db
14:24
2017: around 19:50 with 50# and burpee over box
17:10 best time in 2017 was 15:30 but I was much fitter…obviously
Had to scale to use a 20 inch box since that’s all I have at home. Poor planning on my part…
16:42 scaled
Goal is to match that on a 24″! ????
Did 17.1 scaled that’s when I just started 17++ minutes
21.2 RX, 16:12, rested a bit too long on the sets of 40 and 50 DB Sn. Will see how my back feels on Monday for a redo.
Came a long way since 2017! Nice work!
21.2
55 yr / master Rx 198 reps
Nice work Darren!
21.2: 12:02
17.1: 12:57
Goal was sub 12 but I’ll take it. One and done this week.
So close! Congrats on the improvement!!
2017: 13:15
2021: 12:26
Not mad, but also not stoked. Felt great leading up to the open, here lately not so much. Learning experience. Already looking forward to “off-season” to continue sharpening the sword.
Progress is progress! I’m sure after todays learning you would be sub 12 if you repeated!
2017=19:27
2021=15:20
Idk if I’ll redo it Monday yet
Awesome improvement Rein!!
21.2 Rx – 12:24
17.1 Rx – ~16:45
Improvement came from the DB snatches. These have become a real strength for me. Went UB for all today. More efficient by staying back on heels and driving with legs. In 2017 I remember breaking into sets of 10 and using my back a lot. Kept a relatively steady pace on the BBJO. Did it by myself but I think I’d break 12 if I had some competition.
Thats a huge improvement! Great job
Well that’s a little better!! Awesome work!
Just a little. Should’ve been sub 12. ????????. Pretty pleased with the results.
Not bad for an ????
????????????????????????????
Thanks Hunter. 4 years of improving my technique really helped.
Finished the workout under 20mins with additional time to Add 13 more burpee! Don’t know if that’s any good lol
Had you done this before?
I did the “deep learning” then about an hour later I just felt ready so I sent it.
2017= 11:45 rx
2021 = 11:02 rx
Extremely pumped with my effort, lesson learned I adjusted the box about 5 times and that would’ve put me under 11. In 2017 I remember putting weights beside box to hold it. Tip for anyone who’s yet to do it.
Awesome work dude!! Thats a damn solid time!!
Open 21.2 Rx
2017 14:04
2021 14:20
Didn’t look at my old time before workout and probably should have now. Grrrr!!
Just need to stay a little more mentally checked in on those burpees!
14:54 today. Might redo Monday, we will see. That one hurt pretty bad.
17:50 in 2017
Didn’t do in 2017
Today: 14:30 RX
Not sure what happened, everything felt heavy, couldn’t really hype myself into it and probably tried to overthink the whole and ended up being sloppy.
Wanted really to stop after the 40 snatches, because i already knew it’s going to be a really bad time and have to redo anyway, but finished for some reason…
Not doing any weightlifting in the last 1.5 month “paid off”…#angry
Embrace it and learn to love that discomfort!
I really did not enjoy doing it completely alone today, hopefully back will be okay and can dona redo. Snatches should go ub and burpees should be much faster
First time doing it, wasn’t a CrossFitter in 2017 ????
RX 12:32
Loved this one
Solid job Patrick!
21.2 = 11:16 RX
2017: 12:48
Last tested Jan 2019: 11:48
Great improvements!
Today: 12:06
14/2/21: 12:32
2017: 13:05
Box RX, DB scaled to 35 lbs.
Movements unbroken with some long rests in-between after 30 snatches..
13.25
I thought I was going to cap..
you could have hit this with the 50lb 🙂
15:25 Rx. I was 23 seconds slower today than 2017. I’m also 10-15 pounds heavier haha. Burpee pace slowed on the last two sets. Not sure if I really learned anything. Do better? ????
HTFU??
Hit 21.2 Thursday night. 13:45 rx. Was 13:25 in 2017. Everything unbroken, just slow. Will do it again Sunday or Monday and shoot for sub 13:30
Good day of learning that you can apply to crush it Sunday! Push the pace and trust your fitness!!
