Complete Snatch Warm-Up

A.
Every 90 seconds, for 15 minutes (10 sets):
2 Snatch Lift-Offs + Snatch from 2″ Below the Knee
(pause 2 seconds at mid patella on each of the lift-offs, and 1 second from 2″ below the knee)

Build from approximately 70% to today’s heavy. If you miss, reduce the load and repeat that set. If you miss twice, move to the next portion of the workout.

B.
Back Squat
*Set 1 – 5 reps @ 65-70%
*Set 2 – 3 reps @ 75-80%
*Set 3 – 1 rep @ 85-90%
Rest 2-3 minutes

Followed by…

Every 3 minutes, for 15 minutes (5 sets):
Back Squat x 3 reps @ 90%

C.
Two sets for times of:
50 Wall Ball Shots (30/20 lbs)
40 Chest-to-Bar Pull-Ups
30 Dumbbell Thrusters (50/35 lb DBs)
20 Toes-to-Bar
100 Double-Unders
Rest 5 minutes

D.
One set of:
Tuck Rocks x 100 reps

Followed by. . .

Every 30 seconds, for 3 minutes (2 sets) of:
Interval 1 – Single-Arm Hand Plank x 30 seconds (right arm)
Interval 2 – Single-Arm Hand Plank x 30 seconds (left arm)
Interval 3 – Lalanne Push-Up x 5 reps

Followed by. . .

One set of:
Seated Piked Double Leg Lifts x 30 reps

One day behind schedule..
A. 60/65/70/75/80/82,5/85/87,5(miss)/85(miss)/85kg
B. 132,5/152,5/172,5kg
2×3 @170kg, then dropped to 160kg for the rest. Lower back was feeling funky on the snatches and squats, dunno why..
C. 14.47, only had time for one round.
D. Doing this later at home.

B- 5: 245, 3: 285, 1: 315; 5×3@ 315- these felt great
C) 11:50, 12:23, 12:48. This was brutal. 2nd set felt the worst
D) done.

Hitting it hard tomorrow! Illmlikely follow a day behind this week, I really want to get it in. I ended up real sick last week, but that’s finally gone for good. Made up a couple workouts this weekend and forgot to log it on here. ?

C) scaled to 20lb wall ball and regular pull ups. 9:35, 13:20… was a train wreck during set 2.

Please make sure you’re adjusting accordingly to get the most out of your sessions. Theres no need to tear in training and also risk injury. Train smarter not harder!

A. As much has I tried my legs simply didn’t want to squat today. Got shitty 165 lbs, 80%.
B. 120-140-155 and then 5×3 @ 163 kg.
C. Rx: 10:49-10:32.
D. Done. Ouch.

I’m not sure, man. It was just the snatch (last week they went great,, though). I did the back squats fine. My legs didn’t feel well squatting fast today. It was a little harder for my shoulder too, today. Maybe is the weather getting more chill (will warm up for a little longer). We’ll see! Thanks for asking, coach!
