Please scale the load as needed. The weight should not be more then 80% of your 1RM clean & jerk. This workout is all about managing grip so break early! Our suggestion on how to tackle this is as follows:

Ok, don’t feel I did good today at anything. Tried to focus a bit more on gymnastics since I have missed out on it over the last three weeks. Will be back to my normal schedule starting Monday, so hopefully I can back onto the swing of things. Did CrossOver Symmetry as part of warmup. Worked on gymnastics stuff, will post some videos. I love DT! Darn. We keep doing stuff I want to do on Saturdays. 🙂 BUT, today is partner WOD Saturday with hubby: 15 min amrap: 11.2 18 DL 155 (I did men’s rx) 24 push ups 15 box jumps rest 2 mins, then: 15 amrap: 2 power clean 115 (I did men’s rx) 2 C2B 2 push up 4s, 6s, 8s, etc. as far as you can go. We got 9+52 on the first amrap, and 214 reps on the second (through 14 of 16 c2b in round of 16s.) Had some trouble getting a pull up bar every… Read more »
A. Power cleans felt good so kept climbing up to 165 which is about 95%. Tried 170 but it turned out to be a nice deadlift. Lol. ??♀️
B. DT 7:40 Rx. Not really happy with this. Stayed on the 11+1/8+1/6 rep scheme the whole time but needed/took longer rests on the breaks.

38/6’4″/215 ROMWOD + Warm-Up, Did HSPU work instead of muscle-ups A. 185, 205, 225# B. 11:28 Roughly a minute off of my PR, but I focused on the hook re-grip part of the hang clean and was able to maintain that technique for the entire workout going 11, 1+8, 1+6 all the way through. Rest time was just longer that it needed to be. C. 5:16, 4:57, 4:53 on runs. First time breaking 5:00 on 1200’s. Haha..after those drills the muscle ups were snappy…snappy..snappy!!! 2 MU every 30 seconds for 4 min. 2x Nose to wall at 60 seconds. Were you suppose to shake? ??? A. 155/165/175 B. DT scaled to 75#. 8:02. Probably too heavy for the HPCs for me – had to do 5/4
3000m row at a sprintish pace. 2:18 splits are my 10,000m pace so held 2:13 splits. Hard!!

DMA done + my shoulder rehab/prehab A. Started with PC at home. Worked from 43 to 49 kg. Felt really good today! Gymnastic session I: All swing drills done and it felt really good. Then on the RMU EMOM it just wasn’t there today. Frustrating! B. 12:46 min. First time doing DT as RX. 48 kg is 77% of my 1-RM, so pretty heavy but I’m happy I made it.
