I’m still not back to full strength after last week off. Ran into wall out of nowhere on front squats and just felt like my strength and stamina just weren’t back yet. Gonna up my food intake by a lot over the next couple days and see if that speeds up the process. Frustrating.

C – 8:04 – ended up doing it w/ 85# as 75# felt a bit too light. Row 4:16 / HPCs 6-6-4-4 / T2B 2×5 kipping, but those bothered my triceps, so did the remaining 10 strict (which was fine).
D – skipped – out of time
How are the triceps feeling today?
Feels totally fine as long as I’m not swinging from rings or bar, so will just stay away from that for a few days. I’m signed up for a fun in-house partner comp this Saturday and one of the workouts will require me to do 60 pull-ups (regular, not C2B) and I hope I’ll be able to do those. Will tape triceps w/ KT tape for it.
Be careful and don’t risk injury for a fun competition!
The more I think about it – I don’t think pull-ups are going to hurt it. It’s only when my arms are extended and my feet are in front of me (like T2B and supine swing on rings) that it hurts. Because I did the C2B pull-ups on Monday, and they were fine too.

Thanks for asking Nichole. Better, but I must be very dehydrated again. BW is down to 84kg (-2kg) and i’m Having dizzy spells when getting up off the floor. Like temporary low blood pressure. Need to get my kidney function tested again and sort my hydration out. I thought that I had, but I’m constantly passing water atm. I look like a bodybuilder ready to go on stage. I’m 50/50 whether that is good or bad haha.
I did a little training whilst working away with a friend of mine yesterday. Off program, but high skill and medium intensity.
Oh gosh Rob yes, we definitely need to get that sorted! Definitely go get your kidney function tested and keep the intensity low until you get this figured out.
