Do you get used to moving?? I hate to move. ..I’ve lived in my home for almost 11 yrs now…can not imagine having to pack up everything and move. You are definitely a stronger woman than I! ! Good luck!

No, you never get used to it. Every three years your stuff gets broken or lost so you never have anything too nice. You finally start to feel settled after about 1 year and make friends. Then they start leaving about a year before you a supposed to rotate. But you get to see the world. I’ve in in VA for 5 years but most of that I spent away from home. 3 tours to Afghanistan, S. Korea, FL x 2, and a bunch of other states for training. My career has not been one that I have really settled in… Read more »

Looking for some advice on using the product Nuun. I am running in a relay race on Sunday around Keuka Lake (48+ miles with 6 team members) and it’s going to be 90 degrees (in upstate NY at the end of Sept…CRAZY). I know that I’ve heard thelonghorn mention it, but has anyone else used it…have any advice…is it worth the trouble…how to use it…when to use it…blah blah blah??

Personally, I’m not a fan. I used to run marathon and halfs and that stuff always gave me stomach cramping. I only used it during and attempted post run. The effect was always the same. I would be hesitant to use something in a race if you have never used it! I compare it to cytosport if you have ever used that.Good luck!! I’m sure you will do great!

I did look up some reviews on it and got a lot of the same info u just mentioned…as well…some thought it made them even more thirsty. Guess a case of good ol bottled water will work. Thanks for ur input Britt!

Oh the thirst,so true I forgot about that. Honestly if u haven’t tried it before I’d stick to water. If you need Cals I use sport beans since gu feels like a brick in your stomach. I’d eat 3 or so ever mile or so. Just don’t wait until you are at bonk statusthey can’t help you at that point… I learned the hard way! Hope that helps and good luck!
