60-Foot Front-Racked Walking Lunges (175/115 lbs)

I was crazy busy with school for awhile and it was hard enough to make sure I even got a 5 minute shower in so as lame as it sounds I didn’t have time haha.

A: hit 285, missed 300 twice. No back pain and solid positioning so happy about that.

It is unfortunately by choice. I make a majority of my income in this 8-10 week span! I sell my soul to my boss for doubles and triples all day! It allows me to train how I want to for the other portion of the year !

Rested with one hour of coach and painting for two hours inbetween and then did primary conditioning.
Chose to do the first wod and I lowered the reps a bit but overall I felt great and I’m feeling strong. Did kipping HSPU since I’ll be doing kipping at GG.

Primary conditioning: OHS are a huge weakness + having HSPU directly behind them, i scaled the weight to 115. I wanted to move correctly and focus on having my right shoulder engaaged.

I haven’t been following it recently. But when I did my strict max went from 11 to 16 reps.
Deficit in a conditioning piece with other shoulder intense stuff. I break down and start failing or gettin stick half way up and fall off.
I’ve still been working on them and putting extra time with them but I’m still struggling. Not sure why
Maybe time to hit them again and add a 2″ deficit.

FS/Jerk: 285lbs successfully. Missed jerk on 295lbs, although it was more than high enough. Mental.

Anyone else get a littl sick feeling after the yoke carries? I do every single time. Major shock to the system.
Lunge/PP: 3+30 feet.
This was not fun. Tried to keep it going on a steady, but not fast, pace… fell off after round 1.
Lunges all in 30ft increments.
PP was 6-6 in round 1, 4-4-4 for all the rest.
Was pleasantly surprised on being able to cycle that weight though even when wiped. I used to not be able to do that.

Yoke doesn’t get me anymore but anything above 95% on deads makes me want to vomit. Power abs pushing the guts outta my mouth.
Morning session: Primary strength A) worked to 285 which I was pretty happy about. I got 265 and missed the jerk at 275 but I made a dumb mistake a knew I could do more so I went for it!
