Warmed up for squat cleans but knew it was not in me today for a 1RM attempt. Worked up to 225(about 90 %)
I really wanted to get the feel for a couple of these workouts in its entirety. Did Event 1 in a.m. and Event 2 about 4 hours later.
Event 1; 6 DL’s left at self imposed 20 min. cap (365 felt really heavy, failed a few attempts)

All mobility done Bamboo walks 1 set with 35# on each side and then 2 more sets with 25# on each side B. 90/100/110/115/125/135 C. 155/165/ 2015/ 225/255/275 Whoo hoo 3 reps at 97%… tried for 4 reps just couldn’t get that last rep off. D. Wod 26:28 Rx definitely should have scaled to 115 but made my mind to just push through. Been going too easy on my cardiovascular I think have to step up my recovery and nutrition.
Recovery and nutrition are 2 of the biggest components to training well!

Metcon 17:11 started at 135 and had to go down to 115, my form went to crap trying to cycle at 135.
I should have scaled to 115 but decided to fight through. Just brutal!
I was trying to tap and go from high hips, I think I could have made it through if I slowed down a little we had a group and I got a little caught up with the clock lol
