Mobility and Maintenance
* Choose 1-2 Thoracic Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
* Choose 1-2 Upper Extremity Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 5-10 minutes with them.
* Choose 2-3 Lower Extremity Mobility Drills from Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD and spend 10-12 minutes with them.
B.
Nutrition Preparation
* Ensure that you have quality foods prepared in the appropriate quantities to fuel your efforts for the remainder of the week.
C.
Mental Restoration
* Different for everyone – could be meditation or could be gathering with friends; the key is to engage in activities that make your life full and help you recharge your batteries.
OK, so redid 16.2 a couple hours ago. Still a little frazzled, as I had only one clean left to get into the third round and missed it!! It all happened so fast that I couldn’t believe it and then it was over…. Super bummed on that ending but I did add 5 reps to Fridays test. Trying to look on the bright side but this one just hurts. Just did mobility yesterday as I was unsure whether I would redo 16.2 today. Decided not to redo – lungs still pretty congested from a cold. Did yesterday’s workout.
A. Mobility done
B. Supinated Pull-ups and Z – press – 5 and 6 reps respectively
C. Strict press 66/72/77/82/87 then 4 sets @ 77
D. Rowing and SHSPU’s 1:48/1:45/1:43/1:43/1:40 Best I have felt on the rower in a couple weeks. Wasn’t really pushing the effort but felt strong. Would love to see HSPU’s – they are my jam!

DU first set was a smooth 23 then down hill from there
Cleans were fast
DU are a huge weakness~They will be my focus for the next 4 weeks.
